I got requested from my baby sitter who want birthday card for her husband.
So, I decided to use Flourishes Stamps - Old Timer which never used since I bought almost 5 months ago. I think today is the right time to use it.

Ooo yesterday, I read about Cardboard Challenge by Scrap for Help Challenge.
Why don't I used that material ha? I have lots of cardboard/corrugated paper in my stash.
Perfect idea to turn scrap to valueable thing.

For the layout, I'm using Mojo Monday sketch.

OK.. Here is my card.

P.S: After I make the card, I just realized that her husband love pink color & flowers..
oooo.. nevermind, I still have time to make another card for him. hehehe..

Kitchen Queen Card to those who loves to cook

Hi friends,

Who love to cook??? I'm so sure that many of us like to cook. 

Recently, I was requested by a friend of mine to make a card for her sister who loves to cook and architecture.

So, kitchen & architecture???? Hmmm... The combination really challenging for me. But, I'll do my best.

At the time I was thinking of retro images. Ting Ting ... lamp came out and say "Kitchen  Time". Hehehehe..

I tried to combined soft color and some die cuts to look as an architecture. 

I used Heartwarming Vintage Collection - Kitchen Time Vintage Cuts (Kitchen Queen) which I think that suit with the theme.

I cut the PTI die & Spellbinder die cut and stamped the message. Then, I added ribbons attached with a flower.

And here is the card,

Hehehehe.... I really happy that finally I got Copic marker. I just found 1 store that sell Copic Marker.. I don't have enough money to buy them in bunch but enough to buy 10 marker (^_^).. Thanks to God!

I brought 3 images from Some Odd Girl.

#1 --> Big Pressie Tia, I love the cute girl hugging the present. Suitable for my next card. Birthday card for little girl who turning to 2.

#2 --> Pressie Mae.. I know I know this is for Christmas but I like the way she sitting on the present ohhh she look so beautiful with her hair.

#3 ---> Sign Kaylee. I like the signboard. I can stamp something inside the box. Hehehehe....

I don't have skin color Copic Marker so I printed the images on cream CS. I don't have to color the skin anymore (^___^). Now, lets look at the cards...

First card using Copic

Tia in pink dress and Big Pressie in purple color. I'm still in learning stage to use the marker. In my country there are no class on how to use Copic BUT before that I'm learning it from 2 vids from youtube... Please advise me to improve my skill { really appreciate it} .

I'm using foam square to pop up the image.


I stamped PTI's Just for you in scallop paper that brought from Etsy.
Pattern paper from ScenicRoute. I loves the Polka dot pattern. Distress the paper to look not so boring.

For the envie, I just stamped same sentiment from the card and add Sweet Baby inside the circle.

Pressie Mae

 Just to make the dress look different from Christmas dress, I'm using purple color... and the present in red.

This is my second card. I cut out the pattern paper with Spellbinder Label 4 at the center. To make a different, I just use the other side of the paper so that I can get the collaborate pattern. Then I'm using pop square to pop the image.

To make it more stunning, I add paper flowers and glued pearl at the center.

Its long time that I'm not updated my blog due to day time duties. Sorry for that.

But last week, a friend of mine asked me to make a card for her husband's birthday. She wanted the card more like feminine look ( you know with ribbons and pastel colors).

Beside her card, I also make a masculine card.

So, this is the result.
