Make It Monday #71

Wishing you a Speedy Recovery.

I was blogwalking that time and saw this new to me, Runaway Inspired Challenge.
As I not creating any card in this 2 months, I decided to enter this challenge. I was inspired by the dress and colors.

Here's mine. The black frame is actually a strand of wavy ribbon. Since my Big Shot's handle was broken, I went with this design.  Inspirations from the model's gown as she walks.

I sprayed the flower with Mister Huey's Mist Custard & highlighted with Colorbox Chalk - Tangerine. I think vivid is nicer than plain white ~ closer to orange color in model's dress.
Blue Seam binding completed the look.

I dedicated this card to my hubby's car as 'she warded' almost 5 days in workshop.
If you can see, I snap this photo on car's dashboard. I hope 'she' will get speedy recovery. Hahaha...

I got requested from my baby sitter who want birthday card for her husband.
So, I decided to use Flourishes Stamps - Old Timer which never used since I bought almost 5 months ago. I think today is the right time to use it.

Ooo yesterday, I read about Cardboard Challenge by Scrap for Help Challenge.
Why don't I used that material ha? I have lots of cardboard/corrugated paper in my stash.
Perfect idea to turn scrap to valueable thing.

For the layout, I'm using Mojo Monday sketch.

OK.. Here is my card.

P.S: After I make the card, I just realized that her husband love pink color & flowers..
oooo.. nevermind, I still have time to make another card for him. hehehe..

Pensil case

Hi friends,

Today I'm made a pensil case for myself.
I decided to use Cheery Lynn Design dies which I brought 2 month ago to make this case.

Firstly, I cut my old jean wit Sweet Williams die. I need to roll over and over and over. And, I also place some paper to make the die cut nicely. I also need scissor to cut the imperfect cut.

Old jean cut with Sweet William

I also cut used Victorian Romance Flourish. But, this time I cut with cardstock, since I don't have anyting to match the color. Hehehe.. Ooo I align the die half then cut. I did this two times.
err.. actually it was plum puding color not pink. Such a camera trick.
To maintain the shape, I don't want the shape peel out as I love to see the pattern, I glued the front & back with Glossy Accent.I also added some Diamond Stickle to highlight some area.

Then, I cut light purple felt, with French Flair Doily. I used second small size. Distressed with Faded Jean Ink.

I cutted purple felt with French Flair Doily
Denim blue felt - front

Back. Hand stitched.
I also cut Coaster chipboard from PTI with Exotic Butterfly Small. Colored with Copic marker and added some Liquid Pearl-White Opal.

Glued the  2 Victorian Romance Flourish first. I used velcro as fastener. To cover the the stripe I glued jean flowers at the top.

Then, Added Liquid Pearl at certain area to make more interesting look.
Assemble all die cut for front pencil case.

I just glued the felt to cover my hand stitched with liquid glue.. as you see, the glue not dried yet. Need to rush, my baby crying.
Back.

PTI 5th Anniversary: Day 7 Hearts Challenge

3
com
I'm entering Day #7 Challenge.

I'm using "A Big Thank You" stamp set sent by Nichole to appreciate PTI customer. I'm so so happy to received this stamp set. Beautiful stamp!

I made the sentiment first then I think about the card layout.
I cut ribbon banner, added shadow using Copic, then I distressed using Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides & Antique Linen.

For the heart, I cut the shape on Scralett Jewel CS. Added a bit Glossy Accent (I want it look wet & shining) but in the photo it doesn't look as it is.

For the card, I layered Scralett Jewel on cream cs.
Then, I cut a piece cream cs, distressed the edges with Antique Linen & Aqua Mist.
Stamped an image from Mat Stack #2 to be as border using Dark Chocolate ink.
Lastly, I pressed the paper with impression plate. Layered them together.
Another angle.

Supplies :
CS : Scarlett Jewel, Vintage Cream - PTI
Stamp : A big thank you, Mat Stack #2 - PTI
Ink : Aqua Mist (PTI), Ocean Tides (PTI), Antique Linen Distress Ink (Ranger), Copic B60, Dark Chocolate (Memento)
Die: Heart (PTI), Ribbon Banner (Spellbinders)
Emboss tool : Woodgrain Impression Plate (PTI)
Others : Glossy Accent (Ranger)

Thank you visiting my post.

Miss You - My Friend

Hi friends,

This morning, when woke up I read an email sent by Nichole.
Yes, another challenge for today!

Since, I lives in Malaysia, so I received the email during midnight during my sleep time (^__^). I think I left behind than other crafters. I need to rush before challenge end. I look at the clock. I still have time to create at least a card.

Without wasting time, I quickly print sketch pdf file while thinking color scheme. Thanks Nichole, this file really help me.

I choose sketch #5. This time, I wanted to do something that I never tried before.
Make background using PTI product. This not a joke. Seriously, I never try this before using PTI. I'm PTI loyalty customer but I always no time to make a card. Such a PTI collector.

Still using Rosie Posie stamp set. But, this time I used stamp-I think it like bee hive pattern (correct me if I'm wrong).

I stamped the bee hive using Memento-Dark Chocolate on vintage cream cardstock. In the middle of the pattern, I stamped small botanical silhouettes from Postmark stamp set using Hibiscus Burst.

I distressed the edges using hibiscus burst & Antique Linen distress ink.

For focal point, I used Rasberry Fizz cs & Dark Chocolate cs. I trimmed both aligned together.
I also cut some dark chocolate cs with eyelet die. Cut in half and attached with 1cm height stripe.

For the sentiment, I'm using stamp from :

I also used Mat Stack #2 die to be as a frame.

I stamped the sentiments using Memento-Dark Chocolate.

I added some pearls & flower.

And, here come my card. Tadaa...

Always love you
