Hi.  Today I'm entering WMS Blog Party. I love the WMS stamps.  Claire is so clever for bringing all the beautiful vintage stamps.  This month WMS Blog Party theme is Spring.  I never know how Spring really feels like since we don't have the four seasons here, but this is really closest to my imagination.

Paper : Cream cardstock-local shop, Pattern paper- Pink Paislee-Butterfly Garden
Stamp : Asian garden, Say It with Style - both WMS
Ink: Ice Jade-colorbox, citrine-colorbox, lemon grass-Colorbox, Memento-Dark Chocolate, Worn Lipstick-Distress Ink, Pink color from Aurora Pigment ink-Brilliance, Onyx Black-Versafine, Stickle, Glossy Accent
Ribbon: May Arts
Others : Vellum paper - I used scrap vellum paper from Sembonia catalog.

PTI 5th Anniversary: Day 7 Hearts Challenge

I'm entering Day #7 Challenge.

I'm using "A Big Thank You" stamp set sent by Nichole to appreciate PTI customer. I'm so so happy to received this stamp set. Beautiful stamp!

I made the sentiment first then I think about the card layout.
I cut ribbon banner, added shadow using Copic, then I distressed using Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides & Antique Linen.

For the heart, I cut the shape on Scralett Jewel CS. Added a bit Glossy Accent (I want it look wet & shining) but in the photo it doesn't look as it is.

For the card, I layered Scralett Jewel on cream cs.
Then, I cut a piece cream cs, distressed the edges with Antique Linen & Aqua Mist.
Stamped an image from Mat Stack #2 to be as border using Dark Chocolate ink.
Lastly, I pressed the paper with impression plate. Layered them together.
Another angle.

Supplies :
CS : Scarlett Jewel, Vintage Cream - PTI
Stamp : A big thank you, Mat Stack #2 - PTI
Ink : Aqua Mist (PTI), Ocean Tides (PTI), Antique Linen Distress Ink (Ranger), Copic B60, Dark Chocolate (Memento)
Die: Heart (PTI), Ribbon Banner (Spellbinders)
Emboss tool : Woodgrain Impression Plate (PTI)
Others : Glossy Accent (Ranger)

Thank you visiting my post.

Hi again...

I make another card for today to enter 5th Anniversary: Day 6 Participants

This time I choosed to used sketch #3.
I don't have Banner die but I will used ticket die as banner by cut it into 2pcs (half). Stamped image from Just For You set with Canyon ink.

For the sentiment, because I'm in hurry, so I decided to use freebie images that each of the 2012 Stamp Designers has contributed to.

Here is the card.

Miss You - My Friend

Hi friends,

This morning, when woke up I read an email sent by Nichole.
Yes, another challenge for today!

Since, I lives in Malaysia, so I received the email during midnight during my sleep time (^__^). I think I left behind than other crafters. I need to rush before challenge end. I look at the clock. I still have time to create at least a card.

Without wasting time, I quickly print sketch pdf file while thinking color scheme. Thanks Nichole, this file really help me.

I choose sketch #5. This time, I wanted to do something that I never tried before.
Make background using PTI product. This not a joke. Seriously, I never try this before using PTI. I'm PTI loyalty customer but I always no time to make a card. Such a PTI collector.

Still using Rosie Posie stamp set. But, this time I used stamp-I think it like bee hive pattern (correct me if I'm wrong).

I stamped the bee hive using Memento-Dark Chocolate on vintage cream cardstock. In the middle of the pattern, I stamped small botanical silhouettes from Postmark stamp set using Hibiscus Burst.

I distressed the edges using hibiscus burst & Antique Linen distress ink.

For focal point, I used Rasberry Fizz cs & Dark Chocolate cs. I trimmed both aligned together.
I also cut some dark chocolate cs with eyelet die. Cut in half and attached with 1cm height stripe.

For the sentiment, I'm using stamp from :

I also used Mat Stack #2 die to be as a frame.

I stamped the sentiments using Memento-Dark Chocolate.

I added some pearls & flower.

And, here come my card. Tadaa...

Always love you

Yesterday, at last I have an opporturnity to make a card that I think its really full fill my 'want to use items'.

I love to use recycle thing, I love rose stamps ( thank God, finally I got time to used Rosie Posie stamps after bought it a month ago) and I love woodgrain pattern from PTI.

This morning after 2 days not online, I received an email (newsletter actually) from Nichole. Fistly, I would like to say :

"Happy 5th Anniversary PTI".

I'm your loyal customer since 2009. At that time I was a soap maker. One day, Soap Queen introduced a beautiful purple packaging for bath salt and soap from Lisa at Poppy Paperie. At the first sight, she make me WOW! The sentiment, color combination and background make me fall in love with PTI product. I buy all Lisa used in that packaging (kraft paperbag, stamps, ink..etc) plus other stamps. Lisa you make me crazy of PTI and because of you I got tax by my goverment (LOL). I think I spend more than USD300 for my 1st order.

Alright, back to my card. As I said above, I made the card before this challenge was announced. So, I hope Nichole accept my card.

What is the shining stripe in the card?

I got my silver paper from here. Recycle.

Did you see silver paper here?

I press the silver paper with woodgrain Impression Plates. I used Rosie Posie stamp set...

I stamped large rose with Canyon Ink (from PTI) and for small rose, I combined Hibiscus ink (PTI) with Worn Lipstick Distress ink.  For the heart shape, this time I'm using Heart to Heart by Cheery Lyn Design.

I choosed sentiment from Love Song stamp set (PTI) and frame from Fillable Frames #4.

Lastly, I tried to make more shining in the frame by added gold Stickles Glitter Glue.
